Advantages and disadvantages of Kitogenic Diet Plan

The biggest advantage of a ketogenic diet is that it helps in reducing weight quickly. However, its disadvantage is that due to low carb, the body burns ketones instead of glucose. Ketones burn fat from the body upon arrival. In most people, it shows symptoms such as headaches, weakness of the body, irritability, complaints of gas, dyspepsia, constipation, nausea and vomiting, which are known as Keto Flu.

General Motors had prepared a diet plan for its employees in 1985, called the GM Diet. This is a week plan, in which some special diet is taken on a particular day. Its initial results were good and the staff obesity decreased and their efficiency also increased. Exercising every day is also a must, along with staying on the jim diet.

  1. Only fruits and water are consumed on the first day.
  2. On the second day you can take boiled vegetables, salads, water, or butter.
  3. On the third day you can take a salad of vegetables-fruit mix and boiled vegetables once a day.
  4. On the fourth day, fruits, milk, milk shake and soup can be taken.
  5. On the fifth day, boiled lentils, vegetables, yogurt, brown rice, meat, sprouted grains, fruits, salads and soups can be taken.
  6. On the sixth day, boiled lentils, chicken, soup, seasonal fruits and vegetables, brown rice are consumed.
  7. On the seventh day, vegetable salad, fruit juice, brown rice, boiled vegetables can be taken.

Advantages and disadvantages of GM diet

GM diet helps people lose weight in just one week. It does not require any fast for a long time. It contains carb and fiber from fruits and vegetables, no salt and sugar, and helps reduce bad cholesterol levels. But while trying it, it is necessary to keep in mind that there is no shortage of water in the body. Diet experts say that it cannot be adopted for a long time. In the initial days it can also cause problems like hair loss, dry skin, or headache.

Vegan Diet Plan

Vegan diet plan is a vegetable based diet, it does not contain meat, milk products or eggs etc. Most people call it vegetarian diet, milk is not consumed in it.
